SuMa Monde Kapital Partners is a premier real estate private equity firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Partners of SMK have acquired over 6,300+ acres of transitional land, medical offices and multifamily projects across the U.S. and are investing in real estate projects including retail, multifamily, hospitality, medical office, residential, land and mixed-use developments.
Leveraging our extensive network, we source off-market deals and offer local expertise for strategic acquisitions. Our rigorous due diligence ensures informed decision making, while our asset management expertise maximizes property value through timely maintenance, value-add and strategic financial planning.
In 2024, Suma Monde Kapital Partners successfully exited a land purchase in Sherman, TX within a remarkable timeframe of less than 14 months from the date of purchase. This realized investment has yielded our investors an outsized double digit IRR, showcasing the efficacy of our investment strategies.

Founding Partners
Karan Negi
Managing Partner
Karan is Managing Partner of Suma Monde Kapital Partners where he is responsible for leading and overseeing the Company’s overall investment activities, strategy and operations.
Karan is a serial entrepreneur whose career in private equity over 10 years working for a niche PE firm in Santa Monica, CA led to creation of investor value through divestitures and leveraged buyouts of entities directly under his operating control. Karan is Founder and Managing Partner of Kriya Capital since 2013 investing and building a portfolio of assets in BPO, Receivables Management, Healthcare RCM and ITeS businesses. Karan’s family office actively invests in logistics and transportation businesses and realty with specific focus on land banking.
Sudhir Pai
Managing Partner
Sudhir is the Managing Partner at Suma Monde Kapital Partners, he is responsible for steering the firm in a strategic direction that aligns with the companies vision and extends to overseeing the firm’s operations and investment activities.
Sudhir is an accomplished professional with over 30 years of experience in Finance, Tax, Accounting, Wealth Management, Real Estate & Ventures. He holds various qualifications including being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Enrolled Agent (EA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and Security licenses with FINRA & SEC. He previously worked as AVP & Head of Finance of Infosys Technologies before establishing Global Value Add, Inc dba, MyTaxFiler and myStartUpCFO, in 2008. Between 2021 & 2022, he successfully exited his tax, accounting and wealth management business. Additionally, Sudhir is a member of the Forbes Finance Council.

William Soloman
President
William serves as President at SuMa Monde Kapital Partners. In his role, he is responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the firm including acquisition, disposition, due diligence and portfolio management.
William has over 20 years of experience in real estate and finance. He has an extensive executive background in economic development, private equity, real estate development, acquisition and has been a consultant to large enterprises on real estate finance.
William holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics, business and finance. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri system and also a graduate of the University of Miami, Herbert school of Business.
Seetha Ravi
VP Operations
Seetha Ravi is VP of Operations at Suma Monde Kapital Partners and is responsible for real estate operations, project execution, and due diligence.
Seetha’s experience of over a decade in hospitality management and real estate investments adds to her insights in operations, customer service, property management, and the real estate markets, all of which makes her an integral part of Suma Monde’s team. She has over 15 year’s of experience in various finance roles across multiple industries which includes business services, software, audit and assurance, and this experience showcases her expertise in financial management and project management.
Seetha is an Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ACA) and licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI.
Barry Chien
VP Capital Markets
Barry Chien is VP of Capital Markets at Suma Monde Kapital Partners where he is responsible for project financing for commercial properties, land investments, and opportunity zone & income funds.
Barry worked for Hong Kong luxury condo developer Greentown where he developed a $204 million, 271 unit luxury condo called The Graystone, Wan Hai Lines family office that built a 77 unit condo called Jewel Court and he also financed a $73 million multifamily renovation project called GlenLake Village Apartments. He also previously worked for Deutsche Bank RREEF and Jade Invest on behalf of U.S. pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and Fortune 500 companies where he allocated over $500 million to private equity managers and co-investments.
Barry received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin McComb’s School of Business in Finance. He also holds an MBA from the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.
Bhuvan Talanki
Deputy CFO
Bhuvan Talanki serves as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DY CFO) at SuMa Monde Kapital. In this role, he oversees various financial aspects of the organization, leveraging his extensive experience in Finance & Accounts.
With a career spanning 12 years, Bhuvan has expertise primarily within the real estate sector for over seven years. He has worked with multiple real estate firms from India and managed projects worth $500 million. He was also the head of finance for one of the largest projects of the Brigade Group, which entailed developing 6 Mn Sqft of land with a project size of $360 million.
Bhuvan holds the prestigious designation of Chartered Accountant from both India and the UK, which is equivalent to the CPA credential in the United States. Furthermore, he has pursued specialized training as a business finance analyst from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Arindam Mukherjee
Finance Controller
Arindam Mukherjee serves as the Finance Controller at SuMa Monde Kapital, where he oversees the financial operations of the company and its projects. In this role, he is responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls, ensuring financial efficiency, and supporting strategic planning through comprehensive financial analysis and recommendations. Leveraging his extensive experience in Finance and Accounts, Arindam manages various financial aspects of the organization with precision and expertise.
With nearly a decade of experience, Arindam has honed his skills primarily within the banking sector. His career is marked by his work with multiple prestigious financial institutions, where he developed a deep understanding of financial management and operations.
Arindam holds a postgraduate degree in Management from IMT Ghaziabad and has completed specialized training with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), further solidifying his expertise in the field.
Kishan
AVP Investments
Kishan serves as AVP Investments at SuMa Monde Kapital. In this role, he oversees investments and underwriting for various real estate asset classes in USA.
Throughout his career in real estate strategy, investment and valuations, Kishan has consistently delivered impactful results across diverse asset classes. From spearheading capital raise initiatives, as a part of Embassy Group, to evaluating projects worth over $400Mn and driving a 50% reduction in project losses through strategic value optimization, he maximizes profitability with data-driven analysis and innovative thinking.
Kishan’s expertise spans financial modeling for projects like metro rails and wind farms, as well as advising on mergers & acquisitions for portfolio expansion at KPMG. With an MBA degree complementing his portfolio, he excels in investment strategy development, financial modeling, feasibility analysis, capital raising, and project management, all while fostering collaboration across teams and partners for seamless execution.

Senior Manager
Keerti Mallampalli serves as a Civil Engineer with PGDM in Operations at SuMa Monde Kapital . In this role, she oversees various aspects of Land acquisitions, building inspections and operations, leveraging her extensive experience in the field.
With a career spanning 13 years, Keerti has developed expertise primarily within the construction and real estate sectors. She has worked with leading Project Management Consultancies (PMCs) and prominent real estate builders in Bengaluru Karnataka (India), including the Embassy Group. Keerti has successfully managed numerous commercial base build projects with 1 Mn sft with budget $36Mn & Master Plan upgradation of tech park with budget of $20Mn, ensuring efficiency, adherence to timelines, and effective stakeholder communication.
Keerti holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a specialization in Operations. Her unique combination of technical and managerial skills allows her to excel in both strategic planning and operational execution in Real estate projects.
Tarun Saberwal
Marketing Manager
Tarun is the Marketing Manager at SuMa Monde Kapital, where he oversees the company’s marketing strategies. In his role, Tarun is responsible for crafting client-facing content, website development, social media campaigns, advertising, coordinating public relations efforts, optimizing search engine visibility, and driving branding initiatives.
Prior to joining SuMa Monde Kapital, Tarun gained valuable experience in the marketing industry through his tenure at a Singapore based marketing agency. During his time there, he had the opportunity to directly work with diverse clients spanning multiple industries, including India, Singapore, and the USA.
Tarun’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the prestigious Singapore Institute of Management.
