Asset Manager vs. Property Manager

Many ask, is an asset manager the same as a property manager? The answer is, no. There are many cases where an investor may need or have both but they function differently.

An asset manager realizes the profit potential of the real estate portfolio. A property manager  focuses on day to day operations of rental properties on behalf of the investor. Handling a few properties is no problem for a property manager but as a real estate portfolio grows, complex operations need an asset manager. Asset Managers will focus on ROI (return on investment) in a longer term investment strategy.
